| Ethernet I/O | SoftPLC's Tealware™ I/O Meets IEEE C37.90.1 Surge Withstand Requirements | ||
|
SoftPLC In Tealware is a rack mounted, high density
distributed control system. Tealware I/O can be used in a
number of configurations, both local and remote. Tealware I/O can also be used as ethernet I/O connected to any SoftPLC or other controller CPU that can communicate via ModbusTCP protocol. Tealware I/O is a

SoftPLC's
Tealware I/O system provides a wide range of modules, including 125VDC
digital and high resolution analog (both current and voltage). Selected Tealware I/O modules meet the Surge Withstand Capabilities requirements* in the IEEE® Std C37.90.1-2002™ , as certified by an independent testing lab. Compliance with this IEEE standard is a must for many utility applications, such as those in power generation facilities. No other PLC or general purpose distributed I/O product line fully complies with the requirements of this standard. In fact, if you examine the detail of most vendors' statements they specifically list exceptions to their compliance of this standard (contact us and we can provide details and vendor names). Tealware systems are a cost-effective solution for many control applications. A rack mounted CPU is available, or the I/O can be used in conjunction with other SoftPLC CPU's such as our Hardbook Processors. * Passing the IEEE Standard for Surge Withstand Capability Tests for Relays and Relay Systems Associated with Electric Power Apparatus requires continued operation during tests of both a fast transient waveform at 4kV and an oscillatory waveform at 2.5kV. |
