Ethernet-to-Fiber Converters
Gatecraft™ industrial-grade Ethernet to fiber converters transparently convert Ethernet signals to optic signals. The advantages of fiber optics are wide bandwidth, EMI immunity and long-distance transmissions. The ruggedized design assures high reliability and stability in harsh environments.
Features include MDI/MDIX auto-detection, so you don't need to use crossover wires. Additionally, the LFP (Link Fault Pass-through) feature means that when one side of the link fails, the other side of the link is forced to shut down, giving the application software/firmware a chance to react to the problem.
